AEPTEC, Inc. has identified several niche markets that require affordable wireless Internet devices. AEPTEC is focusing on product development in low-cost and mobile wireless Internet devices, sensor fusion, as well as integrated condition monitoring systems with expert system features. Examples include the internet gateway and network capable application processor (NCAP) developed by AEPTEC for the US Navy supporting shipboard condition-monitoring for condition-based maintenance. AEPTEC has plans to penetrate the home markets, such as SOHO gateway, VoIP, home security, with existing and new technologies.
