ABSTRACT:
The Accelerator 6800 Series is ideal for large distributed enterprises. It increases peak-period transaction processing for remote sites and offers extensive built-in Layer 7 QoS to prioritize network applications according to business objectives. It reduces latency and packet loss through TCP acceleration based on SCPS standards. It also delivers robust performance and fault management using SNMP, RMON/RMON II, and NetFlow.

The Accelerator 6800 Series supports high-speed data links that connect critical sites, and can be deployed to support hundreds of remote sites. It scales from 2 Mbps to 45 Mbps, supports Gigabit Ethernet and provides rack-andstack options. It supports mesh networks and can be deployed either On-Path between the LAN segment and router or On-LAN by connecting non-obtrusively to the switch or router. It includes fail-to-wire functionality, offers optical hardware bypass and supports standard failover protocols.
