ABSTRACT:
Spyware is an issue that is getting more and more visibility, but very few people are actually talking about the true costs of spyware. Although spyware and adware have existed for several years, it is within the last year that combating these threats has become one of the highest priorities for enterprises and home users alike. A 2005 Forrester survey of IT decision-makers found that 50% of respondents did not know how many systems in their organization were infected with spyware. Those who could measure the number of systems with spyware found that about 30% of systems were infected, and the number is growing rapidly.
Learn how to focus on proactively protecting your enterprise from spyware, bots and increasing security risks, as well as uncovering the hidden costs associated with allowing spyware to run rampant in IT organizations.
