This technical report describes how VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3 can work together with EqualLogic PS Series iSCSI SANs to provide dynamic, scalable and highly available virtual environments. This report also provides guidelines for planning, designing and implementing a virtual environment appropriate to your data center needs. With the release of ESX 3.5/3i there are some new added features and functionality. This technical report will address Virtual Infrastructure 3 as a whole and where needed, will point out which version of ESX the function is available for.
