His assignment included helping organizations throughout Europe reshape and transform their operations. He has a 25 years background and experience built up in the Telecoms sector.

Van Thienen has more than a decade of experience in commercial back-office management functions includes an in depth knowledge of next generation networks and IMS network investment values and customer business cases. He is familiar with company organization and control processes due to several years of internal audit experience and has more than 10 years management experience that includes the competence management of expert teams. His background also includes research and development and IT experience which provides him with a broad understanding of telecom and technical solutions and issues.
